I started following President Obama on Medium. It is fascinating to observe him through the written word rather than his oratory skills. Speech writing is different to writing for readers.
I am grappling with a tough decision at the moment…so I rather enjoyed reading his post on his approach on making tough decisions. Given that he has had his fair share of experience in the “tough decision-making” department, I had more than a few takeaways.
And while the decisions that I make are different to those of a POTUS, we all face difficult decisions as we make our way through life. The world is complicated. We have blindspots. We are either in the quest for a perfect decision or tempted to trust our instincts. It’s helpful to have a framework.
